The main CR7 Museum is in Funchal, Madeira, Ronaldo's birthplace. It is located at Avenida Sá Carneiro, Praça do Mar, close to the city's harbour.
The museum opened on December 15, 2013 and covers around 400 square metres. It contains trophies, photographs, videos and interactive displays covering Ronaldo's career with Portugal and his club sides. Among the exhibits are his Ballon d'Or awards and Golden Boots.
There is also a life-size wax figure of Ronaldo, while a statue of the footballer is located outside the museum.
The Ronaldo museum is in Madeira because Funchal is where Cristiano Ronaldo was born and raised.
The Madeira Tourism Board describes Funchal as Ronaldo's home town and says he chose the city as the location for the museum because the first part of his story was written on the island.
Ronaldo was born in Funchal in 1985 and began his football journey in Madeira before moving to Sporting CP in Lisbon as a teenager. The museum therefore focuses on his career while also reflecting his connection with the island.
The Funchal museum contains more than 100 individual and team trophies from Ronaldo's career, alongside photographs, videos and interactive content. Exhibits cover his time with Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and the Portugal national team.
The Ballon d'Or trophies and Golden Boots are among the main attractions, while visitors can also take photographs with the wax figure.
The museum is relatively small, so it is more focused on Ronaldo's achievements and memorabilia than a large interactive sporting museum.
Most visitors should allow around 30 to 60 minutes to go around the CR7 Museum in Funchal.

The price makes it a relatively inexpensive attraction for Ronaldo fans visiting Madeira. Recent visitors in 2025 and 2026 have reported paying €5 for admission.

Madeira's official cultural information currently lists the museum at Avenida Sá Carneiro and opening hours of 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some Sunday and holiday openings announced in advance.
Ronaldo also has a CR7 Signature Museum at Boulevard City in Riyadh.
The Riyadh museum is different from the original Funchal museum and focuses on Ronaldo's career and achievements through a more immersive experience. Visitors can see trophies, follow a timeline of his career and take part in interactive experiences including a vertical jump and kick-power test.
The official CR7 website describes the Riyadh attraction as the CR7 Signature Museum and confirms its location at Boulevard City during Riyadh Season.
For fans travelling to Madeira, however, the Funchal museum remains the main Cristiano Ronaldo museum, particularly because of its connection to his birthplace and early life.
