Cristiano Ronaldo celebrating Juventus win against AC Milan

Juventus are back on the title fight, after beating AC Milan by 3-1 tonight at the San Siro. Federico Chiesa with two goals and McKennie with his second goal in the league this season, helped the Bianconeri securing 3 crucial points for the rest of their Serie A campaign.

The champions made a statement at the San Siro tonight, as Juventus travelled to AC Milan's home and beat the league leaders by 3-1. It was a crucial result for the Bianconeri, who have now cut the gap to the Rossoneri back to 7 points and still with one game in hand. The man of the match this Wednesday night was Federico Chiesa, who scored Juventus first two goals in the game, both assisted by Paulo Dybala. The Vecchia Signora's final and third goal on the night was scored by McKennie. Cristiano Ronaldo didn't get to write his name on the scoresheet this time around, but he's still leading the Serie A top scorers table with 14 goals after 12 appearances in the league.

Two giants collided at San Siro...

It has been a season full of ups and downs, twists and turns, as Juventus tries to wrap up another Serie A title and conquer the UEFA Champions League. So far, those two objectives are still open for the Bianconeri, even though the results so far don't really inspire much confidence in the team. Tonight, however, it was one of those games that allow the Turin side to still dream with big things this season, especially if they're able to maintain a winning attitude throughout the year...

The Italian champions were in serious risk of seeing their title hopes crushed this week, as losing tonight's game against AC Milan could mean stretching the gap between the two sides to 13 points. Not only losing was completely forbidden for Andrea Pirlo's men, but the 3 points were vital to get back on track and closer to the league leaders.

AC Milan hadn't lost a single game in the Serie A until tonight's clash, as they were the only team in the league unbeaten so far. They were coming off 3 consecutive wins against Sassuolo, Lazio and Benevento and even though they still couldn't count with their top player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Rossoneri's confidence levels were sky high!

Chiesa was the hero tonight...

The first goal of the night was scored in the 18th minute of the first half, thanks to a truly masterpiece from Paulo Dybala. The Argentine ace received a pass from Federico Chiesa with his back turn to AC Milan's box, but with a spectacular back heel touch he managed to return the ball to his Italian teammate and get him on a good position to shoot. The 23-year old looked for the far post with a low strike and from the moment the ball left his boot, there was not much Donnarumma could do in order to prevent it from going in. 1-0 for the champions, who had just started making a statement at the San Siro.

The hosts were determined in saving their unbeaten run and found a way to equalize the game a few minutes before the half-time break. It all started in a push to Rabiot inside the hosts' half of the pitch, which the referee decided not to call a foul. The Rossoneri couldn't care less about the Vechia Signora's claims and in a fast counter-attack they saw Rafael Leão assisting Davide Calabria for a great finish inside the box. All leveled at the break and a very interesting second-half for the rest of the night...

The champions made sure everyone realized they are still serious about winning the title once again this season and Chiesa put Juventus back on the winning track in the 62nd minute, this time thanks to a great finish using his left foot. The Italian international picked the low corner of Donnarumma's goal again and scored his 5th goal in the league this season.

The match wouldn't be over before Juventus' final goal on the night, when Kulusevski decided to destroy Milan's defence on the right side of the attack, just before assisting McKennie for an easy finish from a very short distance to goal. That was the final blow in AC Milan's dreams of still rescuing a positive result from tonight's clash and Pirlo will be a happy man in his way back to Turin...
